Cause Partner: Grassroots Aid Partnership

Kindhumans supports the Grassroots Aid Partnership in its mission to give aid to communities being impacted by coronavirus.

Grassroots Aid Partnership (GAP) is sending much needed supplies into the heart of communities impacted most by the coronavirus. Through this ongoing pandemic, many communities are now at risk of food shortages related to coronavirus, including children affected by school closures, laid-off workers, and vulnerable communities in outbreak zones.

Outside of the pandemic, GAP provides humanitarian relief in the form of free food and prepared meals, toiletries, and other forms of compassionate aid. Aid is distributed to victims of environmental disasters such as wildfires, hurricanes, and other natural disasters occurring at increasing frequency as a result of human-caused climate change. This effort has been made possible by the coming together of activists, businesses, and local community groups, who have laid the groundwork for this outpouring of support to have a direct impact on the ground.

When selecting GAP at point of purchase on the Kindhumans shop, all donations made on the customer’s behalf go directly to the food relief program. The nutritious meals provided by GAP cost  between $5 and $7.50 per meal.
