Gifts for the Outdoor Lover
Kindhumans MarketplaceGifts for the Outdoor Lover
For the friend or family member who is always on to the next adventure, get them a gift they can take along for the ride. We’ve picked out six items from the Kindhumans shop that will keep them protected from the elements and ready for whatever the great outdoors bring them.
Nomadix Festival Blanket ($70)
From the company that makes our favorite travel towels comes a brand new travel blanket. Fit for the dirt, the Nomadix Festival Blanket has a waterproof bottom and anchoring corners for setup on grass, sand, etc., plus a soft plush top cozy enough for laying by the fire or reading a book in the park.
At five feet long and almost six feet wide, there’s plenty of room to share, which makes the Festival Blanket a great gift for outdoor-loving couples, too!
We all have that friend who seems to be perpetually injured from their latest spill at the skatepark, run-in with the reef, or slip off the climbing wall. For the one who can’t stay still, BLDG Active Spray is the perfect companion. The all-natural spray can speed up healing and soothe rashes, bites, and stings, and the 3 oz. bottle is TSA approved so they can bring it along on all their adventures.
Make sure your friends are truly never caught without a reusable bottle by gifting them a collapsible bottle by Que. When empty, the Que can be squished down to a 4.8-inch version of itself, easy to throw in a jacket pocket or fanny pack. When you need some water, open it up to its 20 oz. capacity and hydrate without the need for single-use plastic.
The Que is made from food-grade silicone, temperature resistant up to 400 degrees, and dishwasher safe!
Alpine Shrine All-Season Balm ($20)
For the loved one who spends all day outside even in the coldest temperatures, Alpine Shrine’s All-Season Balm will provide much needed relief. Made from natural oils, beeswax, and cocoa butter, this balm works on any part of the skin that is extra dry after a harsh day in the elements.
Added bonus for the earth lover: the jar is fully biodegradable and plastic-free.
Genusee Roeper Polarized Sunglasses ($149)
There are lots of good polarized sunglasses out there, but few that are doing as much good as Genusee’s. Their glasses are manufactured in Flint, Michigan by local Flint residents, and each pair is made from 15 upcycled plastic water bottles to counter the impact of single-use plastic water bottles during the community’s ongoing water crisis.
The Roeper Polarized Sunglasses reduce glare from water and snow with their 100% UVA/UVB lenses. They’re sized to fit the median range of face shapes and sizes and designed to be unisex.
Kindhumans Outdoor Essentials Kit ($99)
We did all the hard work for you on this one, putting together a kit that any outdoor lover can be stoked about. With the Kindhumans Outdoor Essentials Kit, the outdoorsy person on your list will enjoy the Alpine Start’s Coffee for The Climate, BLDG Active’s hydrogel, a GoPure water filtration pod, Ignik hand warmers, a Kindhumans x MiiR reusable water bottle and Raw Elements 30 SPF sunscreen tin.
With all this gear, they’ll be ready to head to the mountains, caffeinated, protected, and hydrated! And just for fun, we threw in a Kindhumans hat and sticker, too.
