What does shopping sustainably mean?

This is one of the most important questions to be asking, especially heading into the biggest shopping time of the year.

As we are committed to making it easier for you to do good, we partner with brands that are dedicated to sustainability and environmental health. We take into consideration the supply chain, the health of the product, and its overall impact, so you can put your dollars behind brands that give a damn.

As sustainability is an ever-evolving conversation we specifically look for brands that are contributing to one or more of these initiatives:

  • Ethically sourcing ingredients
  • Is waste-free or striving to be low-waste or waste-free
  • Offsetting carbon emissions
  • Using a closed loop manufacturing system
  • Giving back
  • Using organic and regenerative practices

We thoughtfully curate and vet every product we sell and stand behind the amazing brands and innovators who have created them.

We are proud to be carrying Seed Phytonutrients’ products in the Kindhumans Shop.

Seed Phytonutrient’s mission is to plant the seeds of health, well-being, and sustainability for future generations. To protect seeds from over-commercialization, they partner with independent American organic farmers to harness the power of local seed varieties to create elevated natural products that make us look and feel good.

They strive to create an environment of harmonious beauty, agriculture, and sustainable business.

Seed Phytonutrients’ revolutionary shower-friendly paper bottles are made of 100% post-consumer recycled paper with a post-consumer recycled plastic liner, resulting in 60% less plastic than a traditional bottle. The bottles started out as cardboard boxes, and are given a second (or maybe even a third) life. Plus, a bonus heirloom seed packet comes inside each one, ready to be planted. Check out the story of their packing below:
