About the Artist

Donald Miralle is a husband, father, surfer, paddler and photographer. Loves beer and football.
With more than 40 international awards to his credit, including four World Press Awards and Pictures of the Year International Sports Photographer of the Year, Don Miralle is recognized as one of the most innovative photographers in the business.  An avid paddler and surfer, Don has won many notable paddle races including back to back 1st place overall finishes at the 2012 & 2013 Jay Moriarty Memorial race and podium finishes at the Catalina Classic three years in a row.

STOKED is a community of fearless leaders. Through mentorship, opportunity, and action sports culture, they empower urban youth to reach their fullest potential. Launched in 2015 by Steve Larosiliere and TV personality, Sal Masekela, STOKED holds passion and perseverance at its core. They believe that the strength and courage needed to learn action sports serves as a catalyst for larger life skills. STOKED has impacted over 4,000 youth since its inception, with flagship offices in New York City, Los Angeles, and now Chicago (launched in January, 2017).
