Whether you travel by plane, train, boat, van, bike or on your own two feet, stay squeaky clean with this kit designed for the eco-friendly nomad. All items are sustainable, including plastic-free solid hair care, a reusable cotton swab, biodegradable sponge, coconut oil and moisturizing lip balm. Plus you get a staple in every traveler’s cache—a 100% cotton Kindhumans tote for spreading the message of kindness.

HiBAR solid shampoo + conditioner is free from soap, sulfates, parabens, silicone, phthalates and cruelty. And it’s shipped and packaged 100% plastic free!

Last Swab reusable cotton swab is made of soft and flexible rubber material that gently removes dirt, grease and makeup.

Use coconut oil to remove makeup, shave your legs, moisturize, prevent scars + sunspots and as after-sun care.

River Organics Lip Balm is an ultra-hydrating sheer tinted lip balm with plant-based ingredients selected for their protective and hydrating qualities, like Cacao and Mango butters which make the lip balm smoother, thicker and longer lasting, and with no scent added.

The Luna Charcoal Facial Sponge is gentle and exfoliating for sensitive or acne prone skin. It’s made from the roots of the konyakku plant, a food staple in Japan. The charcoal infusion draws out all the impurities you’ve gathered at the beach, on the trail, or just bouncing around town.

Instructions, etc.

HiBar: To use, apply shampoo bar directly to your wet hair until it lathers, or rub it in your palms and then rub the lather into your hair. Do not allow to sit in water after use – store in a dry location, like a shelf in your shower or on your counter.

Last Swab: Use Last Swab Basic like you would use a normal cotton swab, although we do advise that you swab responsibly. Do not push the swab too far into the ear or nose. Do not apply acetone to the swab.

Coconut Oil: The melting point is 76 degrees, so if it’s solid, warm your travel tube in your hands or run under warm water. If you would prefer a lotion-like consistency, toss it in the fridge for a few minutes.

Lip Balm: Open cap and push tube gently up from bottom. Keep at a low level.

Facial Sponge: For first use, soak the sponge in warm water for 10-15 minutes until it has rehydrated and puffed up. It should feel soft and spongy. Use the sponge alone or with a daily cleanser. Simply rehydrate the sponge, create a lather if you’re using soap, and apply to face in a circular motion. Rinse completely, press gently (don’t wring it) to remove water and hang it up to dry. In 3 months, sanitize your sponge by boiling it or microwaving for 20 seconds.

What to do when you’re done

HiBar: Compost or recycle the packaging, the bar is biodegradable.

Last Swab: Recycle the swab – the case is biodegradable.

Coconut Oil: The tube and sustainable bamboo lid are both recyclable and the box is made of recycled paper and packaged by adults with mental disabilities.

Lip Balm: Recycle the packaging

Facial Sponge: Your sponge should last up to 6 months if it’s squeezed and hanged dry after each use. Because it’s a natural product it can grow mold or bacteria; if it starts to smell funky or becomes discolored dispose of your sponge and replace. It’s biodegradable + compostable.

Kindhumans tote: Donate it to your favorite charity or recycle it through a textile recycler.
